While I will always wish for Disney to make movies based on diverse culture and time periods, I do agree their version of inclusiveness has gone out of hand. Like with them race swapping European characters and then calling fans racist for not being happy with it. 90's renaissance prove that audience don't mind diversity but not at the cost of bringing another group of people down.

If Disney wanted to be diverse so badly, they could've made a new story based in a non European setting and possibly incorporating local fairy tales and mythology since that's what they're best at. But Disney just see this diviersy movement as another opportunity to make money so they're not really authentic with their story. I know Disney have always been money motivated, but at least they have hired creative who are genuine and passionate about what they love and they don't just want to spread their political agenda. This is why hiring someone solely base on their gender, sexuality, and race is a recipe for disaster.
